It was really comprehensive and helpful. I liked the idea that you could collaborate with other people as well. **What do you dislike about HoneyBook?** It was really confusing to set up and to get to the forms and templates. There where way too many clicks to get what you needed. It was confusing to copy templates that you often loose your work. My clients did not love the payment processing either the fees really turned them off and the fact that t didn't work well with quickbooks was another negative. The job board is a good idea but in reality no one wants to pay for things and there are a lot of jobs where they want you to work for free. **Recommendations to others considering HoneyBook:** I would only use this if you have loads of clients. Its a great idea but pricey for beginners. It has some great templates and really helps you orgnanize and give your clients the best idea of what they are paying for. I loved the templates personally. **What problems is HoneyBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was solving freelancing with Honeybook. I felt that the price was steep for beginners. I still love the idea but unless you have loads of clients its not friendly. Its also not known well that clients were hesistant to put their info and payments into the system. ### 2. The only indirectly related thing is I have clients who want to pay using other methods and prefer not to go through a transaction within Honeybook. This of course is out of a business owner's hands. Any time I've called or chatted with them, I've been blown away by the support and help I've received. I liked the idea of automizing your emails and structuring your business workflow for a more streamlined customer/client experience. I did like the design of the UX/UI overall it does look well-composed and professional. **What do you dislike about HoneyBook?** The payment methods were a bit too limited to only accept payment on their platform, then the fees to withdraw and deposit into your own account. There's no way to provide cash payment information or input received payments via Venmo or Paypal, which I found a bit of an inconvenience. Their advertisement campaign script as seen on YouTube is awful, the overly repeated use of words "like" and "really" while trying and sell something of service by saying it was "like really really "COOL" " is so weak, it lost me instantly, it hardly explained the actual features that would've been more of use to go over the software. Their trial period was way too brief to even get a full comprehension of their product, I felt a bit rushed to subscribe without having understood the full extent of their capabilities, after doing more research I realized this wasn't enough to meet my needs. Their pricing is also a bit much considering they are not offering all of the services the other CRM programs do, at a slightly lower rate, without the rush, more freebies and time to learn. **Recommendations to others considering HoneyBook:** Make sure it covers all your needs, take your time learning your way around the User Interface because it might lack some of the services you need. Also keep in mind the payment option, if you receive payment through various platforms this may not be the best option for you. If you're looking to consolidate the way you receive payment this might be an option for you. **What problems is HoneyBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** I did like the automatization service, but I quickly realized it doesn't quite meet all my needs. Coming across HoneyBook, didn't solve my problems but it did end up leading me to realize that this was even a service product, which then led me to find other options of CRM program services, that I found to be better because of their longer trial periods to truly dive in and learn about all the services, HoneyBook didn't quite offer in the same extent. ### 16. If you were previously unorganized, this will be a huge change of pace in the right direction. As someone who was already very organized with Excel, I'm still deciding whether or not Honeybook has been a huge improvement or not. **What do you dislike about HoneyBook?** It's all in the little things that bother me. You can't add an attachment to an email that you're sending through a workflow. You can't edit a vendor's contact information if they're already in the system. You can't update an invoice without emailing the client about it. It's all the little surrenders of control that are making me reconsider. **Recommendations to others considering HoneyBook:** If you're an unorganized businessperson, HoneyBook will save you a ton of time and money. Every time I've had an issue (never anything major) they've been quick to answer, and extremely helpful. **What do you dislike about HoneyBook?** It still seems a bit infantile. Only has an iOS app, no Android. More customization on projects, and embracing multiple fields is a MUST - right now I"m only able to show up as a 'Wedding DJ,' when I offer many other services as well. There's no real client-side. I thought I'd be able to collaborate with clients and work directly with them on projects, but this isn't ideal for that. **Recommendations to others considering HoneyBook:** This is still a lightweight product. I'd dig deep, ensure that this product has everything you will need. Also, I use this for taking credit card payments. 3% isn't the best rate out there, but it's better than having to juggle multiple systems.
