What do you like best about HiThrive?

Honestly, what I like most about HiThrive is how simple it is. I opened it for the first time and just got it. Nothing is hidden, and I didn’t need anyone to walk me through it.

It fits right into what we already use. It connects with Slack, so shout-outs show up where the team already hangs out, and it syncs with our HR system, so new hires and role changes update on their own. Sign-in goes through our company login, so there’s no extra password to remember. Calendar reminders for birthdays and work anniversaries land in Google Calendar automatically.

The recognition side is my favorite. Shout-outs feel genuine, not forced, and it’s nice seeing people get appreciated for the small things. The AI suggestions help when I’m not sure what to write, which is a lifesaver on busy days.

When I had a question, support replied quickly and actually helped. For what we pay, it’s been well worth it. Overall, it just makes work feel a little lighter Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HiThrive?

Nothing major, but a few small things bug me. The notification settings are a bit much at first, and I got pinged more than I needed until I dug in and turned some off. Searching for older posts or past shout-outs can also take a few tries to find what I’m after. And some of the admin settings aren’t obvious, so I had to ask someone to find them.

Nothing stops me from using it, but I’ve hit a few glitches. A couple of times a shout-out took a while to show up in the feed, and I wasn’t sure it had posted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HiThrive solving and how is that benefiting you?

We struggled with recognition and company updates getting lost across emails and chat threads. Good work went unnoticed, and I spent a chunk of every week chasing down who did what. Now it all lives in one feed in HiThrive: shout-outs, announcements, and milestones. I’d say it saves me about two hours a week, and we went from a couple of recognitions a month to a few every week.
