What do you like best about HiCAD?

HiCAD is highly effective across all industries, from design to the creation of manufacturing drawings and bills of materials. Whether in plant engineering with pipeline planning, mechanical engineering, or steel and metal construction, HiCAD adapts optimally to operational structures and, in combination with HELiOS, can communicate very efficiently with existing systems (ERP).

All manufacturing data can be output automatically (DXF, DWG, STP etc). Workshop drawings are dimensioned automatically, while isometrics and piping plans are generated automatically as well. What do you dislike about HiCAD?

The software solution is relatively expensive, but it is available as a perpetual license. This ensures independence from price increases, so there is no real disadvantage. After a short period of time, the investment pays for itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HiCAD solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fast design processes without parametric constraints allow for easy modifications at a later stage. Automation features and configurators significantly accelerate the design process. The automatic generation of manufacturing drawings saves a great deal of time.
