What do you like best about HG Insights?

Our initial engagement with HGI was driven by the quality of their tech data. With previous providers, we were taking many incoming customer/prospect calls calling out bad data points which was affecting our credibility during our selling cycles. The significant quality improvement had improved our user experience as well as our productivity. This led to our ability to move people off of low-level QA to higher-value insight building. Any single data issue led to a larger review by HGI so was comfortable they were improving the overall quality of their platform and not just solving a once-off data point issue.

HGI is not just a data provider but with their high-quality staff they add a level of service that is unparallel. They help us ideate and execute on our data driven insights. They understand our business and our challenges so the speed of delivery is excellent.

What do you dislike about HG Insights?

The areas where I see challenges are areas being addressed. Much of this has to do with automation of their platform so we can consume more (i.e., APIs to our platform). Really not a game changer because of HGI's responsiveness and agility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HG Insights?

We like the product ratings, detailed product/software reviews and details that are available through HG Insights. It's easy to use and manage from our side. We use it every week to cultivate new references and content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HG Insights?

There are some challenges on the back end of the vendor portal that make it hard to get all the data. We don't have access to the full review content unless we ask for it. We also cannot manage our incentive balance through it which causes slowdowns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like about HG Insights is that the platform is well structured for use especially for large businesses. What do you like best about HG Insights?

It is a great tool and a great sugestion from the G2. It helped me with data and insights that improved my paid advertising campaign.It helped me structure better ads, sales funnels and sales script for my team. "A powerful market intelligence tool with room for improvement in niche market dat depth"
What do you like best about HG Insights?

The platform is user-friendly with almost 15 minutes of learning curve to navigate and understanding of the tool. It is quite intuitive and has on the go quick onboarding training videos. I was literally expert in utilizing the tool within an hour. The implementation was relatively straightforward, and my colleagues were happy with speed of deployment. The sales onboarding personnel was very responsive and supportive. I accessed the platform three to four times a day to ensure the insights remain current and relevant for my ongoing pursuit. While my company did not integrate the features to its salesforce platform, the tool has ready to plug integration capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HG Insights?

Although HG Insights frequently updates its data, I felt that the insights on niche technologies or markets lag behind. If you are planning for a real niche targetted marketing campaign, I'd give 7 out of 10 for the tool.

What do you like best about HG Insights?

The company level data, including install base information is super helpful, and I like that it shows a level of frequency and timeframe related to the data collected. It's pretty easy to use, and super easy to get started. I've not yet had to use customer support so I cannot speak to that. There really isn't any integration for us since we use D365 as our CRM. What do you dislike about HG Insights?

It's a shame they do not also incorporate the contact level details, but there are a ton of other tools for that. Also, I wish it were a bit less expensive, it's a big ticket item for a small organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HG Insights?

We are looking for the most comprehensive source for information about the technology already in place at our prospects to plan a more personalized 'first touch' with our strategic accounts. What do you dislike about HG Insights?

Licensing model. We'd like to put the SaaS platform in the hands of more users but the licensing model doesn't support that. The export and integration feature with Salesforce arent' as powerful as seeing the data through the UX of the web experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HG Insights?

Granularity is the most valuable element of HG Insights for me. I like how specific I can make the filters in the opportunity generator and I like how deep I can drill into specific accounts in the company profiles. All of it is very easy to navigate as well. What do you dislike about HG Insights?

Exports of lists have been tough to narrow down the size. It would be helpful to know how much can be exported at a given time and to offer filter suggestions if a list is too big to export. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about HG Insights?

The technographic data is unrivaled. This tool provides amazing detail on contracts and spend with every technology vendor you can imagine, and really helps us with TAM analysis, GTM strategies and helps our account teams understand where key displacement opportunities are. The standard company firmographics are also fantastic, revenue, employees, locations, etc. Its become our absolute source of truth for this information and territoty planning. What do you dislike about HG Insights?

There are some limitations when it comes to Public Sector and hierarchies. The SFDC integration is somewhat limiting in the ability to use the in-app widget/tab to display HGI data directly in SFDC, and the tool is very cost prohibitive to give all end users access to it.
