Recommendations to others considering Healthchecks:

Just configure and drop into the code before/after the execution of the task.

And you will be notified on various channels you configure.

You can add the all the stakeholders to the mailing list, or even add it your alerts channel on slack.

Lot better than maintaining the last run date yourself in databases.

It is reliable and has never given me an opportunity to complaint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
