What do you like best about Health-e Workforce Solutions?

It provides a centralised, real-time overview of staffing requirements and workforce availability across the organisation. I feel the system supports efficient coordination of sick-leave replacement, surplus and supplementary staff, and other day-to-day staffing changes, helping us respond quickly to operational demands. What do you dislike about Health-e Workforce Solutions?

The system relies heavily on multiple users entering and updating information accurately, which can affect the reliability of the staffing overview. There have also been times when we’ve experienced glitches, and multiple staff members have been contacted for a single shift because the system failed to confirm someone into a shift via SMS. What problems is Health-e Workforce Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?

Health-e Workforce Solutions helps manage the complexity of coordinating staffing across multiple hospital sites, wards, and workforce groups. It provides a centralised view of vacancies, sick leave, surplus staff, and supplementary staffing needs, which makes it easier to allocate resources efficiently.

For me, this improves visibility of current staffing pressures and reduces reliance on multiple emails, phone calls, and manual tracking processes. It supports faster, better-informed staffing decisions and helps coordinate available staff across the organisation. It also improves communication between wards, Allocations, and the Nursing Workforce Unit, helping ensure staffing resources are directed to the areas of greatest need.
