What do you like best about HCL BigFix?

the real time visibility and reporting and only of the few solutions that offer continuous compliance plus its end point management and superior security, vulnerability remediation, and automation abilities for almost all types of OS

I have implementated and administered the different modules of bigfix in several banks and financial institutes. I have to say that during the four years I have been a Bigfix administrator I discover more features and things I can do with it which makes me love the solution more everyday Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HCL BigFix?

complexity specially in large organizations and user interface isnt very friendly but a lot better than other products like SCCM and its a bit expensive but the new licensing model recently announced by HCL has addressed that part.

Also not much documentation for troubleshooting, they do have some but its quite low level. I have to rely on forums and support cases for any issue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is HCL BigFix solving and how is that benefiting you?

end point management, vulnerability remediation, asset discovery and management, continuous compliance by using baselines depending on the standard of your industry (PCI, HIPAA, ..etc)

It has so many features and uses but the most important part is that it supports all operating system types (Windows, linux, AIX, and many more), and you can use it to replace SCCM, Satellite, etc.

One console to manage it all and one agent does all the functions with very low consumption of CPU and memory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
