For each one, we provide attendees a digital pass after the conference ends, which includes all of the session recordings. Our denomination has sister churches all over the world, and we needed an inexpensive option to create subtitles in other languages for members in other countries. Many other options have rates of $2+ per minute, but HappyScribe gave us a much more affordable option! You pay based on the "bucket" of minutes you purchase...the more you purchase, the less your per-hour rate is! HappyScribe has done a fantastic job in providing us with AI-generated subtitles each time, which our volunteers then review and clean up before we use Happy Scribe again to run through and create subtitles in Spanish, French, etc. The AI software does a fabulous job generating subtitles in these additional languages! In the years since I've started using the software I've also noticed a marked improvement in their speech recognition software. Less editing is needed now than in 2020, and also the tools within the editing dashboard have gotten more refined. Although I don't use this, Happy Scribe does also offer options to have your subtitles edited by humans, if that's what you need. Additionally, the software can recognize not just English speech but also several other languages as well. I've had limited use of the Spanish subtitles in AI, but what I've seen has been positive. Without a doubt, I would recommend this platform! Plan to continue using it for many years to come! **What do you dislike about HappyScribe?** The only hiccup I've had in Happy Scribe has been the speech recognition with regards to Bible verses and occasionally people's names. This is a very specific concern for me as our conferences are all Christian in nature, and therefore usually reference several scriptures in each session. For example, Luke 2:1-4 might be picked up as "Luke two one through four". And of course people's names can be hit or miss, but sometimes that can't be helped, especially if the name is a less common one. **What problems is HappyScribe solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Happy Scribe for video subtitles as an inexpensive option to make our recordings more accessible to more people around the world. ### 16. I use it for videos created by a Spanish speaker, and the % of errors is minimal. When it fails to transcribe correctly, the sharing features allow you to create a link for the speaker to view and edit the transcription, so it works very well. Sometimes I find that the way they split sub-titles into "slides" could be better (not sure what makes the engine decide that it cuts to another slide), but that's not a big deal. Then we discovered happy scribe. Their technology works great at a price-point that is comparable, if not cheaper, than the competition. **What do you dislike about HappyScribe?** Nothing, Happy Scribe is everything it says it is. **What problems is HappyScribe solving and how is that benefiting you?** Happy Scribe saves us a lot of time, allowing us to record discussions, meetings, podcasts, or interviews and turning them quickly into accurate transcriptions ### 24. Yes, there's still some editing required (names, industry-specific terms, etc.), but overall it doesn't take a lot of time to fix things. **What do you dislike about HappyScribe?** Occasionally it can't differentiate between speakers, so it runs conversations together. You can either upload your ready to be translated subtitles or rather upload the original file. The software will automatically convert audio and transcribe the file. **What do you dislike about HappyScribe?** There are some aspects that can be considered. What I struggle the most at the moment is that when I press tab, the video is supposed to stop, but instead, the moment I'm editing fades away, and leaves me in the last comment I edited instead. These are little things that go unnoticed on the app, but that don't really make it worst, as in general it is a great application to work with. **What problems is HappyScribe solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am more efficient than ever transcribing and translating videos for my clients.
