"Fast, Accurate Transcripts with Easy Export"
5/5
What do you like best about HappyScribe?

Fast, accurate transcripts with easy export. HappyScribe's AI transcription is fast, accurate, and easy to use with minimal training. Speaker detection and timestamps are reliable, and the ability to download clean Word docs without timestamps saves real time. The Chat feature is a great bonus for generating summaries and quizzes from content. Adding a glossary terms improved accuracy immediately, a small tweak with a big payoff for technical content. What do you dislike about HappyScribe?

The style guide feature could use improvement. It can't accept an uploaded style guide document, so maintaining brand consistency requires manual workarounds. Speaker names auto-fill with first names only, which creates extra cleanup, especially for external partner-heavy recordings. The Outlook calendar integration also lacks granular controls, making it risky to connect without accidentally auto-joining all meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Simon of HappyScribe

Thank you, this is a seriously useful review. Replacing the SharePoint and Copilot patchwork with one place to get a clean, editable transcript, and the glossary paying off on technical content, is exactly what we want for instructional design work.

A few quick responses. The Outlook granular controls you're after do exist, and we'll walk through them on your next call. Speaker names coming in as first names only isn't what we'd expect either, ours come through with full names, so let's look at your setup together on the same call. Uploading a style guide document isn't possible today and isn't on our near-term plans, but I've logged it.

Thanks for the detail, this is the kind of feedback that moves the product.
