What do you like best about Gusto?

What I like best about Gusto is how simple and convenient it is to use on a daily basis. I work in administration at an outpatient mental health practice, and I use Gusto regularly to track my hours and access my pay information. The website is very easy to navigate, and I can quickly find what I need without having to spend much time searching through different menus.

One feature I particularly appreciate is the ability to easily correct an error if I accidentally clock in or out incorrectly. This makes tracking my hours much less stressful and saves my director time as well. Gusto is also very beneficial when I need to review my paychecks or access previous pay stubs, since they are readily available in one place. Our practice has been using Gusto for years, and its ease of use has made managing hours and payroll much more convenient for both employees and management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

One thing I dislike about Gusto is that there are some limitations when making changes to hours after a pay period has been processed. If I realize I made an error with my time after payroll has already been processed, I have to go through my director or administrator to have it corrected rather than being able to make the change myself. Gusto does make it very easy to edit hours before payroll is processed, which I appreciate, but having a simpler way to handle corrections after payroll would be helpful. It would also be nice if the process for making these corrections were more straightforward for employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gusto solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Gusto, keeping track of hours and accessing pay information could be more time-consuming and would require more back-and-forth between employees and management. Gusto has made this process much more streamlined for our practice. I use it regularly to clock in and out, track my hours, and review my pay information, while my director can easily review and manage employee hours and payroll.

One of the biggest benefits is being able to catch and correct mistakes with my time entries without creating a complicated process for my director. If I accidentally forget to clock in or out, I can easily review my hours and make the necessary correction. I also have immediate access to my current and previous pay stubs, so I don’t have to ask someone in administration to provide them whenever I need to review my pay history.

Overall, Gusto has reduced the amount of time and administrative work involved in something as routine as tracking hours and accessing payroll information. Instead of relying on paper records, spreadsheets, or having to contact someone for basic payroll documents, I can manage and review most of this information myself.
