Recommendations to others considering Groundwater Modeling System 8.0: The Groundwater Modeling System is a very powerful software for modeling groundwater flow. It has several versions with different capabilities, but their price increases. Buy Modflow first and see if you are missing any features. As you get to know the program, you may find that you are missing some features and then you can buy a higher version. You have to spend a lot of time getting to know the Groundwater Modeling System, but if you become friends with it, it will be your favorite tool for groundwater modeling and water and environmental problem solving. A big advantage of the Groundwater Modeling System is the possibility of making a model with an unstructirized grid. This allows you to solve complex problems without over-entering data.
