I like having all/most of the aspects of the QMS in one place. The User Interface is attractive and looks professional/modern. Especially compared to some other eQMS' I've seen when visiting supplier's sites.

The ability to modify notifications is helpful and ensures you don't get hundreds of irrelevant emails flooding your inbox.

Having all the documents in one module and having a clear version system in place ensures that we have a much lower risk of using outdated documentation. I like the new(ish) smart feature where GG document module shows you the difference between new versions of documents and the previous version of the document using AI (by showing both documents side-by-side and highlighting what has changed and what has been removed). This makes checking updated documents and training on new documents much easier.

The supplier module is good and allows me to control the suppliers and their certificates/surveys/agreements in one place, with reminders for when certificates expire or when a supplier assessment is due.

Performance is good generally with little down-time.

Support is good from the team at GG. They always get back to you promptly and then check afterwards if the issue is solved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The new beta documents workspace is a downgrade on the old one.

- The main area of the screen that shows the list of documents seems a lot smaller in the beta workspace than the old workspace. I’m not sure why it needs the ‘Show 25, 1-25 of 19145’ bit at the very top (this reduces the size of the window showing documents massively and makes it feel very cramped – especially on a laptop).

- In the updated document workspace, when you hover over a document title, it moves the title to the right to show you the ‘favourite’ star. Much preferred the old version where the document titles stayed still and didn’t dance around.

- In the old version, I could use my keyboard arrows to scroll up and down the list of documents. I can’t do this in the updated version.

- The left portion of the documents workspace (with the favourites list) is now bigger (wider) than it was. This is unnecessary and makes the main document section look even more cramped. There is a ‘re-size’ drag tool, but it only allows you to make this column even bigger, not smaller…

The audit workspace is a copy of the non-conformance workspace, which means audits have to be shoehorned into tabs that don't really make sense. The tabs do not reflect an audit process. It would be better if there was a tab for audit plan, a tab for audit report, a tab for auditee's response etc.

The linking in the document workspace is clunky (in the 'related items' section of a document). When you search for a document to link to (e.g. by writing a batch number in the search box), it tends to bring up hundreds of 'Tasks' to link to, rather than documents. You can then end up hunting through many tasks before finding the relevant document you’re searching for. I can't think of any reason I would want to link to a task.

The supplier module could be improved by having a section to add their address(es) in the main summary (e.g. primary site address, secondary site address etc) and also supplier staff’s job titles (which just have to be put in the notes now).

On the Approved supplier list (ASL), you can adjust the width of the columns, but only in a very limited way (e.g. In the column for the supplier ID, the supplier ID’s would have to go up to about SPRL-1000000000 to fill up the column width which GG mandates). This width should be fully customisable as it is in most other software. And you can’t customize the order of the columns either.

- Similarly the columns in the document workspace should be more customisable/modifiable.

The reminder column in the ASL is especially annoying as it takes up about a third of the page because it has the time on there. The time is completely unnecessary for the ASL as ISO certificates don’t expire at a certain time, supplier assessments don’t need to be done at a certain time. I can’t think of any supplier action that needs to be done at a certain time. There should be the option to remove the time requirements.

The document search function is relatively poor/outdated, especially if you use more than one word in the search box. e.g. If I search for ‘Hart’, then update my search for ‘Hart Certificate’, it should narrow the search down (to documents that have both Hart AND Certificate associated with them), but for some reason if you do that now, GG seems to search for all the documents that say ‘Hart’ in and all the documents that say ‘certificate’ in, so you get double the number of search results. You end up having to play a game of 'which relevant search word is the least used in our document database that I can use to try and find the document I'm looking for'.

It is frustrating having the American date format forced on us, with no option to change it. Dates should be formatted day-month-year, rather than month-day-year. It's annoying having to decipher e.g. "Mon Jan 31 2026" every time. This applies to the supplier area (under due dates for reminders) and the documents space (under effective dates), and possibly elsewhere.

- The date formatting also leads to issues when uploading spreadsheets. When we have a date in the document, the document preview page displays the date as the American format. When you download the document, it displays in Excel as the correct English date format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
