What do you like best about GovSpend?

We use GovSpend to prospect into state and local government. The biggest upside is line of sight before you ever pick up the phone. You can see who’s spending what, who they’re buying from, and roughly when their contracts run out.

My favorite trick: look at what an agency isn’t spending on. A gap usually means there’s no vendor in place yet, and that’s a call worth making.

It also puts bids, meeting minutes and buyer contacts in one place. You can build a real target account list quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GovSpend?

What problems is GovSpend solving and how is that benefiting you?

GovSpend solves two problems for us. First, it helps us find the right people. We can see the actual buyers and decision-makers at an agency and go straight to them.

Second, it gives us real sales intelligence before we reach out. We can look at what an agency is spending, who holds their contracts and when those run out, and what’s coming up in their meeting minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
