It might work for personal use but definitely not the way we needed it to and what we were told would happen. **What do you dislike about Google Voice?** It will flag you for something, not tell you what, and then get rid of your account without a reason after paying for their service. **What problems is Google Voice solving and how is that benefiting you?** None now. It is completely unusable. They are also misleading with their sales department and do not hold up what they say they can or will do for functionality. ### 2. I didn't run into any confusion or issues with using it. **What do you dislike about Google Voice?** It deleted my number and I lost it previously but that issue has been rectified though I no longer have the number. **What problems is Google Voice solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing another option for Voice for easy integration with other Google Products instead of a unique instance that requires another product. ### 3. I’m also able to access all of my messages online through the web interface, so I can keep up with everything even when I’m not on my phone. **What do you dislike about Google Voice?** It doesn’t support RCS like Google Messages does, and it doesn’t work very well when everyone else is on an iPhone. **What problems is Google Voice solving and how is that benefiting you?** I’m able to access my messages from both my phone and my computer, even when my phone isn’t connected to any network. It also lets me keep the same number no matter where I am. ### 4. I really like being able to respond to texts via a desktop computer, I can type way faster than I can text! We used it for our business, every day, for many years it did the trick for us. **What do you dislike about Google Voice?** Super simple and basic. Wasn't able to do many "enhanced" things like, keeping a text unread, or having auto-responses setup, etc. Worked great for just a small family business, but once we stared to grow, we just needed something more robust. **What problems is Google Voice solving and how is that benefiting you?** Used it for a small, family business. It was great being able to have a single phone line that the 3 of us could sign into and use to converse with our customers. ### 5. Worked Fine **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** A T. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2025 **What do you like best about Google Voice?** I loved the ease of use, for myself and my virtual assistant. the only reason we changed services was because they were not able to register our number with the national registry so that our name would appear when we made calls. otherwise, we would have stayed. **What do you dislike about Google Voice?** they were not able to register our number to our business. **What problems is Google Voice solving and how is that benefiting you?** it made communications with our patients very easy for my assistant, and very easy for me to monitor. we both had full web access and our Google Workspace was hipaa compliant, so i had no worries about that. however, we were consistently losing patients when were would return missed calls from prospective clients and they would not answer the call because our name didn't appear on caller ID. So we decided to change carriers. And the Google support model is horrible, so when thigns are good its fine. But if you need help with anything other than billing? Forget it. ### 10.
