What do you like best about Google Authenticator?

I use Google Authenticator daily to securely log into all my work tools like Nugget, Lifeline and Oracle. Few things I like most:

- Generates a time based OTP instantly, secure login in seconds without any delay

- Works offline, no internet needed to generate authentication codes

- Supports multiple work accounts in one place, all tools secured in one app

- Simple and clean interface, no extra setup or technical knowledge needed

- Adds an extra layer of security to all work accounts, gives complete peace of mind

What do you dislike about Google Authenticator?

No big dislikes, but the codes disappear quickly and there is no option to refresh them when they are about to expire, so I have to wait until they expire and enter the new one. Also account recovery can be a bit difficult when switching to a new device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Google Authenticator solving and how is that benefiting you?

Google Authenticator has solved the problem of keeping all my work accounts secure. Logging into tools like Nugget, Lifeline and Oracle every day requires an extra layer of security and Google Authenticator handles that perfectly with instant OTP codes.
