I like that Google Authenticator is lightweight and straightforward. It doesn’t need internet to generate codes, which makes me feel more secure. The setup is quick, and once accounts are added, I can log in without worrying about SMS delays or weak passwords. It’s free and works smoothly on most apps I use. The main issue is that it doesn’t have an easy backup or sync option. If the phone is lost or reset, all codes are gone and recovery becomes difficult. The interface is also very minimal — no option to search or organize accounts, which can be confusing if someone has many logins saved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
