## Google Ad Manager Reviews
  ### 1. All-in-One Ad Management with Powerful Targeting and Clear Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** pankaj p. | ssa, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Ad Manager?**

What I like most is that everything can be managed in one place. I’m able to control multiple ad formats, like display and video, without having to switch between different platforms. The targeting options are fairly detailed, and the reporting provides a clear view of how my campaigns are performing. It’s especially helpful when you’re working with larger volumes of ads or when you need tighter control over inventory and revenue.

**What do you dislike about Google Ad Manager?**

The interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first. It isn’t very beginner-friendly, and it takes some time to figure out how everything works. At times, even small tasks require multiple steps, which can slow things down and make the workflow feel less smooth. On top of that, getting proper support when something goes wrong isn’t always easy.

**What problems is Google Ad Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me manage all my ad campaigns in one centralized place and improves how my ads are delivered to the right audience. Thanks to the detailed reporting, I can make better decisions and optimize performance, which has increased overall ad efficiency and revenue.

  ### 2. Maximizes Revenue, But Complex Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wijbren v. | Head of Marketing, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Ad Manager?**

I like Google Ad Manager because it earns us more money. That's really what it's all about. We want to earn as much money as possible, and Google Ad Manager is one way to do that.

**What do you dislike about Google Ad Manager?**

Google Support is often out of date because the product changes so fast. Google Ad Manager can also be extremely complicated. Getting to the necessary level of knowledge is very hard. The initial setup was hard, and working with an agency didn't go well due to our custom CMS. The additional revenue promised didn't materialize, and finding committed experts is tough. Setting up Google Ad Manager is not just a one-time thing; it requires constant optimization.

**What problems is Google Ad Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Ad Manager lets us earn more money from ads by using individual suppliers, improving revenue compared to AdSense.

  ### 3. Comprehensive But Complex Ad Management Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikolay D. | Enterprise Amazon Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Ad Manager?**

I really like the level of control Google Ad Manager provides over ad inventory and campaign delivery. It lets me manage multiple campaigns, advertisers, and placements from one centralized platform, which makes it so much easier to maintain clear visibility over how ads are being served. The targeting and prioritization options are particularly useful because I can define rules around audiences and placements, which really helps in controlling ad delivery and inventory allocation. I also find the reporting and performance tracking very valuable. It gives me detailed insights into impressions, delivery, and revenue metrics, which helps in identifying opportunities to optimize placements and improve overall monetization. Overall, it combines flexibility with strong reporting capabilities, making it a reliable tool for managing and optimizing digital advertising operations.

**What do you dislike about Google Ad Manager?**

One challenge with Google Ad Manager is that the interface and overall workflow can feel quite complex, especially for new users. The platform offers a lot of functionality, but navigating through line items, orders, targeting settings, and reporting options can take some time to get used to. Another area that could be improved is reporting flexibility. While the reporting is powerful, custom reports sometimes require multiple steps, and extracting the exact insights needed can take longer than expected, particularly when working with large datasets or multiple dimensions. The setup and management of campaigns can also become quite detailed when dealing with many placements or advertisers. While the level of control is useful, it can sometimes make campaign management more time-consuming than simpler ad platforms. Improvements to usability, reporting workflows, and onboarding for new users would make it even more efficient to work with.

**What problems is Google Ad Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Google Ad Manager to centralize advertising campaigns and optimize ad delivery, ensuring efficient use of inventory. It helps me track performance metrics, manage multiple demand sources, and provides insights to quickly adjust underperforming placements, all while simplifying ad operations.

**What do you dislike about Google Ad Manager?**

One downside of Google Ad Manager is that it can be quite complex for new users, there’s a steep learning curve, and some features aren’t very intuitive. Setting up advanced targeting or trafficking multiple campaigns can take time, and occasionally the interface feels a bit slow. Support can also be limited, so troubleshooting certain issues can be frustrating.
