"GoodBarber: a stable and profitable app, easy to manage without a developer"
5/5
What do you like best about GoodBarber?

We use GoodBarber for the PSW app – Planète SW, the French-speaking Star Wars fan club since 1999. The drag-and-drop back office allows us to publish news, events, and forum access without a dedicated developer: a new section is set up in a few hours, not weeks. The site's content automatically feeds the app, and push notifications bring members back during major news (trailers, releases). UI/UX: clear navigation by sections, a native experience smoother than a mobile site. Integrations: sync with Planete-StarWars.com, push integrated into the editorial flow. Performance: stable app, regular updates without managing Xcode/Android Studio. ROI: much more profitable than a custom app for an association; over 10,000 downloads, rating ~4.7/5. Support: taken over in a few days by the editorial team. AI: not central, but automations (sync, push) already reduce the daily manual load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodBarber?

GoodBarber remains limited as soon as you step out of the "content + standard sections" model: the deep integration of our forum (nearly 500,000 messages, RPG, complex interactions) mainly goes through embedded web pages rather than a true native experience, which is less smooth than a custom-developed app. Advanced customization (very specific ergonomics, custom community features) also quickly hits the builder's options. But these are just details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
