**What do you like best about GetResponse?**

The ease of use, I like the dashboard and the lead page builder is very easy to use. Overall, a very clean user interface. I've just started using it so I haven't used the more advance features, but what I have done so far, such as set up an email sequence is easy and intuitive. It was easy to implement and begin using it.

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

I wish the countdown timer on the lead pages could link to another page, in my case I wanted to link it to an expired page and another affiliate offer. I emailed customer service and they were responsive, but they said this will not be added back in as a feature, at least for now.

**What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GetResponse makes email campaigns very easy to use and it links well with LeadPages.

It has many features which makes my work easy like Automation: GetResponse offers a wide range of automation options, including autoresponders, drip campaigns, and webinars, List Segmentation, marketing funnels, A/B testing, email designing, landing pages, forms and analytics....

Its is one of the best tool for email marketing automation for small and mid-scale companies but compare to other crm tools like Salesforce, Hubspot it still needs to grow.

I like their customer support because they were quick to respond and informed me about the issue I was having.  They have a good chat box where you can get an expert to answer your questions.  I even got a very useful link explaining my issue.

The site can be overwhelming and a bit challenging to complete fully.

I like GetResponse because it's extremely user-friendly. Even complex tasks seem simple, thanks to step-by-step training and videos. The auto-responder feature is a huge benefit, effortlessly adding subscribers to my lists and sending automated emails. I also appreciate the affordability of the plans and the great customer service.

**What do you like best about GetResponse?**

You talk to an actual human everytime. The chat bot just guides you on where to go but it makes talking to a live expert immediately possible. Their customer service agents are really helpful, and will quickly provide instructions or video help to navigate you to what you're looking to accomplish.

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

I'd say that the builder for newsletters and landing pages are a tiny bit clunky, but in comparison to what? GetResponse's landing page builder is light years better than the biggest website builder.

**What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing to reach potential partners immediately and track their interest to see whether or not it is worth moving forward. Not only is it saving me time, it's allowing me to be more precise and efficient in who I am actually doing business with.

The Get Response platfrom is very intuitive, with drag and drop, and it speaks in full sentences instaed of code! I have to say that it has the best customer support team that I have ever come across!

I don;t really have any downsides as such - it is a shame that they do not have more integrations with other platforms. That aside I'm very happy!

**What do you like best about GetResponse?**

GetResponse allows me to easily create, send, manage and monitor email responses. The ability to automate the process of creating effective and customized email marketing campaigns for each client is one of the key benefits we emphasize. We save a lot of time creating newsletters because the Email Maker is incredibly easy to use and comes with a variety of themes. Automation is made easy with its high quality templates and responsive, all-in-one features. Adding photos, links and text is a breeze thanks to its compatibility with desktop and mobile devices and high deliverability. Its ease of use and customizable features make it ideal for any marketing endeavor.

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

It would be great if the email generator had a feature to let me know when other team members are working on an email campaign.

**What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We integrate GetResponse with social media applications, custom web applications and other services to use it as a mail server. They provide a world-class conversion funnel tool that simplifies lead generation and follow-up. Our Internet marketing tactics have been greatly improved as a result. By automating critical processes, we are able to save time and make our campaigns more effective. In addition, the ability to integrate with CRM systems and conduct A/B testing has significantly improved our conversion rates. Based on the client, we also use it as a content editor and email notification server. The lists are often used as our customer relationship management system.

  ### 16. Move to Getresponse!  They have been the best since the start of autoresponders

**What do you like best about GetResponse?**

Support is great.  They look out for YOU as an online business owner. If you're on aweber move here especially after aweber decided to just start double billing everyone because they felt like it.    They give you all the bells and whistles for a good price with no limits on your broadcasts.  They are arguably the most experienced autoresopnder company and the most internet marketing friendly.   They have a very nice affiliate program to and you may want to sign up to get paid for actually helping those with their online business get a better newsletter autoresponder service that does things right and helps people out.  Great support. Oh i said that. I'll say it again.   Their software is good, logical and doesn't have continual bugs like some other autoresponder newsletter companies.   Get started  Move fast.Make lists.  Make those followups - you can use the content from your sales letters and websites to get started.  I've been an internet marketer since 1998 and getresponse has been one consistent online marketer friendly pillar of the internet.  I would at least do their 30 day trial and see for yourself.  And I know what I'm talking about.

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

Nothing.  You just need to take a few minutes to get used to their teminology if coming from another autoresponder newsletter service.

**What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are a great, helpful, newsletter autoresponder company that helps solve your problems fast. These other dime a dozen new email marketing newsletter companies are not as experienced, established or flexible.  Plus Getresponse has better prices.  They know what they are doing and I've been following them since what around 1999.  I have several different newsletters and getresponse makes it easy to set them up, manage followups and do broadcasts.

Ohh also Getresponse integrates very well with other services where other popular newsletter companies are a no show.

I love it because it has a ton of features and it is easy to use.  I have used automation extensively and I am just getting started to create courses.

While their support is OK, I hate that you can't call.  I have been around long enough to know it was way better when you can talk on the phone.

**What do you like best about GetResponse?**

I have been buidling dynamic, individualize emails for a collection of companies and the GetResponse team is super supportive and responsive and product has been able to do what I need it to.

It's a complex system I've set up and the team knows how to explain what I need to do to achieve my goals and they understand the questions I have even when I am unsure I phrased them well.

The system integrates well with my survey software and prefills urls to share the information I need without bothering the survey recipient to fill it out.

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

It would be awesome and super helpful to my project if I could dynamically assign LISTS in to facilitate footer and to/from information for multiple emails that are the same but need to go out to different parties with different branding and from different emails.

**What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication to the employees of 7 different companies autimated to best be there when the employees need us.

**What do you like best about GetResponse?**

I work crazy hours and sometimes overnight.  I really appreciate having instant access to live support at anytime day or night.  Nothing worse than having to interrupt your workflow waiting for someone to respond.

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

I have not had a chance to use all of the features yet.  I have built an autoresponder, a landing page, and uploaded my some of my contacts.  The UI is easy to navigate but there is room for improvement with the editors.  I can't remember all the nuances but the one thing that would greatly improve the designing experience is being able to see the page you are designing in the actual correct proportions.  The way it functions now the tools overlay half of the page you are designing and the proportions you see when designing change drastically when you preview the page.  There was also some kind of issue with saving the settings. It took me a while to get the knack of it but apparently there is an order to making adjustments to buttons for example, and adjusting one setting like the size resets to the default shape but the settings are not in sequence bearing this adjustment in mind.  It's a small thing but it took me a while to realize what the correct sequence was so I didn't have to keep repeating any steps.  Also, the absolute and fixed position settings are a nightmare.  The button I was experimenting with completely disappeared from the editor but remained "fixed" on my preview, and I could not edit or replace it.  There should be an option to turn this feature off if it's set accidently or you just want to preview the effect without committing to it.  I spent hours trying to remove it but nothing worked.  Even customer support didn't know how to remove it.  The next day, I was less exhausted and it occurred to me I could delete the whole section after saving my content.  The invisible "fixed" button issue resolved but I lost hours of time fooling around trying to undo a simple experiment.  That was the only question I had for support that stumped them out of a couple dozen questions so no reflection on them for trying the usual process for weird stuff online like saving, refreshing, and  clearing the cache,etc.

This is my first time using autoresponders.  I'm hoping email marketing will increast traffic to my website

It is easy to use and you get so many features for starting out for free. The support staff is also very helpfull and efficient. Most of the settings is easy to setup and link to other areas. And for everyday use it is great for news letters and to build your website on that gives you daily tracking too.

When hosting your domain through getresponse, it gets tricky when your original host tells you to update something on your DNS servers. Then you need to more or less work with the support team to get it set up.

I haven't found a downside so far. It's always uncomfortable changing tools and/or communities but they have made it as painless as possible.

I think the best feature GetResponse has is their customer support. Running email campaigns can be complicated, especially if you use all the different features like segmentation, webinars, and workflows. So it's great to have someone in th elive chat feature there to help you. I've not had to wait more than a minute for a support agent to help me out and I've been using the platform for over 6 years.

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

Billing is a bit confusing. There are many plans and multiple levels in each plan depending on how many contacts you have. If you go over you contracted anount of contacts, there is no warning email or notification, they just charge you extra making it hard to budget your business expenses. You need to keep a close eye on your subscribers to make sure you upgrade in time to a higher plan to accomodate them all.

GetResponse helps with email marketing. I need to set up automations and segmentations specifically as I have leads from multiple countries and need to offer them all services based on theor location.

the jump in pricing between plans or offers. The content monetization or the webinar tool, is just not affordable for startups, and for most of my clients I refer them to it, so I always go to a different party for that option.

**What do you like best about GetResponse?**

Thanks to GetResponse MAX, our email campaigns have reached a higher level. The deliverability of our messages has significantly improved. Our newsletters now look professional. Our sales team has access to reports that help them promote our products more effectively. The interface is very intuitive and user-friendly. We have a dedicated account manager, Paulina, with whom we maintain excellent communication.

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

The only thing I miss is the ability to set different fonts depending on the device, but GetResponse is constantly evolving, and I believe they will add this feature in the future.

**What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The GetResponse team assisted in implementing the platform in our company and conducted a webinar for the sales department on how to use the application.

  ### 40. Stay away from GetResponse at all costs - worst email provider ever

**What do you like best about GetResponse?**

The interface is clean, and they have decent drag and drop functionality in their automations. Customer support is quick (but often provide incorrect information).

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

Most email providers, e.g., Active Campaign, MailerLite, etc., have pretty standard automation triggers, such as when a form is completed, a tag is added, etc. 

In GetResponse, Automation triggers are ridiculous. 

If you set "Tag added" as a trigger, or "Form completed" - pretty standard automation triggers in most email systems, you have to set time intervals related to these that make absolutely no sense. 

We contacted their help team (who are quite responsive) on multiple occasions, describing how we wanted automations to be triggered, and got different answers every single time. This meant a lot of people didn't receive automated emails they were supposed to get (when tags are added with a purchase). When we changed it to reflect what another support person told us, it incorrectly sent emails out to the thousands of people who had the tag from previously purchasing the item.

So the automation triggers work differently to every other email provider and are basically unusable. 

The API is a deadset disaster as well. You won't find this in their API guide, because it makes absolutely no sense - when adding or removing tags with the API on a subscriber, you have to remove every single tag on a person, and reapply all the ones you want. e.g. I can't just add a tag for a purchase via the API. The website has to remember all the persons tags (say they have 20 tags), remove all 20 tags, and then reapply 21 tags including the new one.

Weird, but maybe ok? 

Nope. Adding tags back to the person then sends the person through every automation that is triggered when a tag is added. 

After asking support so many times and getting different answers, many customers not getting emails they were supposed to get, and people getting emails they weren't supposed to get, we had to move to another provider (MailerLite - which doesn't have drag and drop functionality in automations, but is much better in every way).  

We were then 6 month into an annual account, however if you want to cancel your account, that's when you discover that GetResponses policy is outrageously bad, and designed to trick people into letting their account roll over. 

As soon as you cancel your account, you lose access to your account. Even if you have 6 months left that you've paid for. They won't refund you, and they also won't allow you to access your account. At all. I can't see how it's even legal to deny you the service that you've paid thousands of dollars for. So you then have to remember to cancel before your subscription is due, which it seems they're hoping you forget to do.

So stay away from this shambles of a system. Active Campaign was better, but also much more expensive. MailerLite is great, and on par pricewise with GetResponse, without all the weirdness and predatory business practices.

None. GetResponse is a downright disaster to use. Stay away from it

**What do you like best about GetResponse?**

We primarily needed a tool to send daily job notifications to all of our colleagues. GetResponse become the obvious choice since they could meet our techincal requirements, e.g. conditional formatting, for a reasonable price. Even though some technical details weren't obvious at first, we got good customer support and was able to find an easy way of achieving our goal in the end.

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

At the moment the statistics don't show Gmail Spam Complaint Rates that are made directly to their ISP, which is an disadvantage since >50% of our recipient are Gmail-addresses.

**What problems is GetResponse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email Tracking, Statistics, Transactional Emails and Daily Notifications to colleagues. Since we have different business areas and both colleagues and customers in different stages  it was particularly important to be able to have the possibility to use conditional formatting in emails, which GetResponse has given us an easy way to do.

**What do you like best about GetResponse?**

I have been using getresponse since August 2015. 
I have been looking for a service for email marketing. Few companies were providing similar services as getresponse. I chose Getresponse. I don't know why. I just felt I should give it a try.
I am not a techy person. I have almost no knowledge of coding. When I first joined getresponse, there was a steep learning curve because I never used such services before. It was scary and I almost wanted to return to traditional and tedious email marketing with my Gmail account. It was intimidating and overwhelming to learn how to use getresponse. Being a shy person, I was hesitant to ask people for help. 

However, I approached the customer service team to help me understand. Surprisingly, the response was quick and detailed. I knew I was asking too broad questions and was asking for step-by-step instructions. I felt that the customer service team would be fed up but to my surprise, they patiently guided me throughout the process. I thought I was just lucky to have an agent who was very helpful. 

Since 2015, I experienced the best customer service experience. The support staff is always quick. I describe their services in many words. Such as Caring, Helpful, Kind, Positive, Quick, Prompt etc. There were times when I used to contact the customer service team almost every week and they patiently handled my questions. They have created many articles and videos where I could easily learn how to solve problems and challenges. They even create a customized video for me to guide me throughout the process.

Getresponse has been improving its features and services on a regular basis. They are simplifying their process gradually. I haven't looked anywhere for the services for email marketing, landing page, autoresponder, opt-in forms etc. The service is consistently 5-star since I joined in 2015. It's been 9 years and it really amazes me how a company can never fail to satisfy their customers. 

If you haven't used getresponse, try it out. If you face any difficulty, just reach out to them. They will either instantly reply or will be reached in less than 3-5 minutes. You will be talking to a real person who communicates with you and understands you with empathy and care. I am telling you because most companies have AI robots talking to you as a so-called customer service agent. I would never want to talk to a robot. Your questions will be answered until you leave the conversation. Their interface and design is user-friendly. They minimize the complexity as much as they can. 
Lastly, they will not slap you with hidden charges or send you spam emails.
Getresponse is taking customers as any business should do. 
My 5-Star to Getresponse always.

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

Getresponse is good already. I wish they include more services. Such as calender booking, simplyfied sales pipe page/prospecting tool, personal organising tool, ecommerce store as gumroad or etsy etc. I however understand that each services will increase the complexity and burden. As a result, I don't wish the service standard would go down because of more services.

I wanted to interact and engage with my clients on a regular basis and I am doing with Getresponse since 2015

The customer service is bar none. They are responsive, friendly, and patient with their responses, and I always resolve my issue efficiently. 

But I also love the easy-to-use interface. I also love the features that allow me to grow into the platform as my customers' sophistication grows. 

It's affordable, keeping it accessible for small businesses.

I've used many different platforms over the years, and have switched everything over to GetResponse at this point.

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

Sometimes I wish there were more options within the "..." (elipses) button. There are a couple times when you have to go to another screen to find more buttons/options (e.g., export), when you think it should live under the elipses button.

With Zapier integration, we will be able to port over our prospects from Pipedrive and build out marketing automation journeys to better target our clients.

The Ease of Use is a standout; it has an intuitive, self-explanatory interface that allows even new users to easily create and send effective newsletters. For our setup, the Ease of Implementation and Frequency of Use are important, as we act as an agency for our cooperative clients, each with its own sub-account under our Master Account. This structure is ideal, giving each team the independence to manage their newsletters while letting us oversee and assist as needed. The contact management and segmentation tools are another high point—they make organizing, updating, and fine-tuning lists simple. The Customer Support team is also highly responsive, which has been valuable as we continue to integrate GetResponse MAX’s Number of Features into our operations.

**What do you dislike about GetResponse?**

It would be beneficial to have a cross-account template-sharing function, allowing us to apply the same templates across multiple accounts and improve our workflow. Additionally, support for WhatsApp advertising would be an ideal feature to expand our Ease of Integration and multi-channel outreach options.

GetResponse MAX simplifies the management of newsletters across multiple accounts by allowing us to act as a central admin for our cooperative clients. With the Master/Sub-account structure, we can oversee each cooperative’s sub-account while giving them the flexibility to independently manage their own newsletters. This setup streamlines our workflow, reduces administrative burden, and ensures consistent branding across accounts.
