One of the things I like most about Gemini is how well it integrates with Gmail. In my day-to-day QA work, I handle multiple Jira tickets, and whenever I add comments, update statuses, or make changes, I receive email notifications.
Earlier, I used to manually note down all the ticket numbers in Notepad so I could include them in my daily updates to the client. Now, I can simply ask Gemini to list the Jira tickets I worked on that day, and it identifies them from my Gmail notifications within seconds. This saves me from going through emails individually or maintaining a separate list.
I also find it useful when working with Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets. Overall, I like how Gemini helps simplify routine tasks and makes it easier to find and organize information within the Google Workspace tools I already use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike about Gemini is that its responses are not always consistent. Sometimes it does not understand the context of what I'm asking and requires additional prompts to get the expected result. I also feel that its usefulness is more noticeable within Google Workspace than when using it as a standalone AI assistant. For more complex technical tasks, such as coding, debugging, or understanding project-specific requirements, I often prefer other AI tools. I would like to see improvements in response accuracy, consistency, and overall problem-solving capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
