What I like best about Gemini is how well it fits into my freelance workflow. I build websites for local businesses, and I can upload a screenshot of a competitors layout or a clients old site and get usable HTML and CSS back, which saves hours of back and forth. Because it works inside google workspace, I can draft client emails from my docs notes and keep a consistent, professional tone across projects. As a student juggling classes and clients, that speed and consistency let me take on more work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike most is even after so many generations of AI, there's still inconsistency when I iterate on code. When I ask Gemini to tweak one section of a site, such as adjusting a navbar’s spacing, it sometimes rewrites unrelated parts of the HTML or CSS, which can break a layout I had already approved with a client. I then have to compare versions line by line. Its generated code can also lean on outdated patterns or skip accessibility basics like alt text and semantic tags, so I always review it before delivery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
