Honestly, the best thing about Gemini is how well it plays with the rest of Google. I don't have to constantly copy-paste stuff back and forth between tabs—it just pulls what I need from Gmail, Docs, or Drive right when I’m working. Plus, the context window is massive, so you can dump a giant PDF or a long report in there and it actually remembers what was on the first page instead of spacing out. Paired with live Google search, it just feels like a natural part of my workflow instead of some clunky chatbot I have to fight with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As for what gets annoying, it’s definitely not flawless. Sometimes the guardrails feel way too strict—like when you're trying to work through a coding or policy question and it hits you with a generic refusal out of nowhere. The mobile app can also act up with random loading glitches or drop a chat thread if it loses sync. Plus, even though it has that massive context window, you still have to double-check its facts on niche stuff because it can hallucinate or miss details if a document gets too messy.
