What do you like best about Gemini?

The UX/UI is impressive—simple and clean. As a beginner, I was able to figure things out easily without any support. The onboarding is very straightforward; you just need to log in with your Google account. It integrates perfectly with Sheets, Docs, etc. I can upload my notes, summarize them, and convert them into a PDF or a presentation without any trouble. The AI is also really helpful for my research work: it supports me with summarization, training my ML models, and more. You just need to type a prompt, and it delivers the desired results within seconds, hassle-free; so overall performance is very satisfactory for me. I usually use the free version, and it handles all my college work, including my research, so the pricing is quite reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemini?

The pricing for the advanced version of Gemini is quite pricey. As a student, it’s difficult for me to afford such a high subscription price. The AI also gives absurd answers sometimes and doesn’t stick to the prompt. When I try to edit my photos for Instagram, it often changes my facial features, which isn’t what I want. And when I’m working on complex maths problems, it can give two different answers in two different prompts for the exact same question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gemini solving and how is that benefiting you?

I usually use Gemini for my statistics practicals and for training my ML models. It quickly generates Python code for my problem file; I just upload the file, and it gives me code that I can easily copy into a Jupyter Notebook. For my statistics practicals, it provides step-by-step answers with formulas that I can copy into Excel without much effort. It also identifies errors in my code easily: I just upload a screenshot of the error, and it spots the issue and suggests a correction within seconds. Because of that, I don’t need to remember Python code anymore. Overall, using Gemini for my practicals saves me a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
