I use Gemini mainly for software development, technical research, documentation, and learning new concepts. For example, I have used it to understand SDLC concepts, app publishing steps, UI ideas, and different technical questions that come up during development. The conversational experience is probably the most useful part for me. I can start with a basic question and keep asking follow-up questions until I understand the topic. The interface is clean and straightforward, so I don't need much time to figure out where things are. I also like that Gemini can explain technical topics in simpler language. This is useful when I am working with something I haven't used before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main issue for me is that the quality can vary depending on the question. Sometimes the response is very useful, while other times it gives more information than I need or I have to ask the question again in a different way. For development work, I also don't blindly use the generated code or technical recommendations. I still verify the answer and test things myself because AI can occasionally give an answer that looks correct but isn't suitable for the actual project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
