Our software uses MS Word for report generation from templates, and so far we have controlled Word via COM for this purpose. This works very well, but it has become extremely slow in the latest Word versions and unacceptable for our customers. With GemBox.Document, we were able to replicate these functions very well, and the execution speed is 50 times faster than Word via COM.
