What problems is GatewayAPI solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use GatewayAPI as the SMS backbone for our booking platform (appointment confirmations, deposit payment links, last-minute availability alerts, win-back campaigns). Before switching, our previous provider reported messages as "delivered" that never actually reached Dutch handsets โ customers silently missed confirmations and payment links. GatewayAPI gave us a real, carrier-grade EU route where accepted messages actually land.
Two things stand out. First, deliverability into the Netherlands is genuinely reliable, and the anti-smishing "allowed links" whitelist means our transactional links are trusted rather than filtered. Second, the pricing is roughly half of what we paid before, which matters a lot at our volume.
The API is clean and easy to integrate โ Basic auth with a token, MSISDN without the plus, custom sender ID. We were live in a day. Delivery reporting in the dashboard is clear, and the automatic fallback we built on top means a send never just disappears. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
