What do you like best about Gartner?

What I like most about Gartner Peer Insights is that the reviews come from real user experiences. That makes it much easier to understand how a product performs in day-to-day use, instead of relying only on marketing material. Before I consider a new tool, I often read reviews to learn about its strengths, limitations, and the practical experiences other professionals share.

I also appreciate how well the platform organizes reviews, which makes it simple to compare products and quickly see what users like or dislike. The review process is straightforward, and I like that the platform encourages genuine, detailed feedback. I’ve contributed reviews based on my own experience, and the process has been smooth. Receiving occasional rewards for eligible reviews is a nice bonus, but the main value for me is being able to share honest feedback and help others make informed decisions.

What do you dislike about Gartner?

I don’t have any major complaints, but there are a few areas where the experience could be better. For some products, the number of reviews is fairly limited, which makes it harder to get a complete picture before deciding. When that happens, I usually check a few additional sources so I can compare opinions.

The review moderation process can also take a while, so there’s sometimes a delay between submitting a review and seeing it published. I understand the need to verify reviews for quality and authenticity, but faster processing would make the overall experience smoother.

What problems is Gartner solving and how is that benefiting you?

Gartner Peer Insights helps solve the challenge of making software decisions based on real customer experiences, rather than relying only on vendor websites or marketing material. Before I evaluate a product, I often read reviews to understand how it performs in real-world scenarios, what users like about it, and what challenges they’ve encountered. That gives me a more balanced perspective before I invest time in a new tool.
