What do you like best about GanttPRO?

What stood out to me most was how intuitive the dependency management and overall interface are. Setting up task dependencies is super simple and gives a visual idea of where I’m at in the project. And when you shift one task’s timeline, everything downstream automatically recalculates and shifts with it. On past projects using other tools, I’ve had to manually re-check and re-adjust every linked task whenever a deadline moved - GanttPRO just handles that cascade for you, which saved me a surprising amount of time and prevented scheduling errors that would’ve otherwise slipped through. Beyond that, the overall interface is just genuinely very user friendly and easy to pick up. I didn’t need a tutorial or onboarding session to start building out a project plan. What do you dislike about GanttPRO?

Honestly, the drawbacks are pretty minor compared to what it does well, but a few things come to mind. The pricing is fair for the value you get, especially compared to some other platforms out there, but I do wish it were just a bit more affordable, particularly as you scale up seats for a larger team. The cost per user adds up quickly, and it would be great to see more flexibility for smaller teams or a mid-tier option that sits between the basic and higher-end plans. That said, once I factored in the time saved from the dependency management alone, it was easy to justify the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GanttPRO solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest problem it’s solved for me is keeping complex projects on track without constantly having to manually re-check timelines. Before, whenever a task shifted, I’d have to go through and manually update everything downstream that depended on it - which was time-consuming and left room for things to slip through the cracks. GanttPRO’s dependency tracking handles that automatically, so I always have an accurate, real-time picture of where the project actually stands.

That real-time visibility is what’s benefited me most day-to-day. I can open the chart and immediately see what’s on schedule, what’s at risk, and what’s coming up next, which means I’m catching potential delays early instead of finding out about them after they’ve already thrown off the timeline.
