We recognized the value that an AI-enabled predictive tool added to our established processes for prospect identification, portfolio development, and segmentation. Still, we needed to build cross-functional buy-in and adoption across other areas of the fundraising division to receive the highest impact. The Fundmetric team was willing to work at our pace, offer best practices, address reservations, and provide hands-on assistance throughout the proof-of-concept phases. And yes, there were multiple proofs-of-concept developed because sometimes that is what we needed to move our projects forward. You don't find that kind of dedication from most vendors. Throughout our relationship with Fundmetric, they have been there to listen to our needs and provide any level of support required to be successful. Their focus remains on improving our fundraising capabilities by providing better insights to our donors and friends and guiding our engagement opportunities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Fundmetric? There are so many facets to this software and how it an be used. Our biggest issue was deciding where to start. As with any new technology, there was some initial distrust and fear that had to be overcome before it gained acceptance. This issue certainly isn’t specific to Fundmetric itself, but they took time to recognize and alleviate those concerns at all levels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Fundmetric solving and how is that benefiting you? As in many fundraising organizations, we have a large number of identified prospects that look great on paper but struggle to get them all qualified by a philanthropic advisor. Initially we were looking for ways to improve the quality of our portfolios and help move our pipeline. Fundmetric worked closely with our research and portfolio development team to create customized predictions that enhanced our current portfolio development process, pointing us toward those prospects who looked ready to consider a major gift. While these predictions were useful on their own, we ultimately found that using the integrated communications and giving platform was helpful in capturing needed data points that allowed us to measure interest and identify prospects for specific fundraising initiatives. Fundmetric demonstrated its ability to generate and synthesize this data through a planned set of targeted, personalized communications that captured interactions and interest at a level we could not do in the past.
