The interface is very user-friendly so it is very easy to schedule an absence. The calendar view makes it efficient to quickly see all dates. The "assign sub" option is not very straightforward so it can be somewhat confusing to use. You cannot search for specific subs and submit a request for that substitute because it states that you should have spoken to them first, which is not always possible.
