I used Foxit PDF SDK for a hackathon project as it's my core pillar to transform .docx and .jpg files into PDFs, which allows users to quickly convert their files. I appreciate its ability to automate PDF transformations and enable my AI agents to read PDF text content. The API is very fast, and I find it easy to work with due to its many options. I also like its unmatched speed in processing my data just with one command on my terminal to transform selected files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Foxit PDF SDK's documentation could use some improvement, especially in specifying the return types of the payloads I send to their API. It would be helpful to know if an endpoint returns a binary of a .zip or a .pdf, for example. The initial setup had some frictions, though it was generally easy.
