What I like most is being able to build fillable lease templates and route them for e-signature right from the ribbon. That way, tenants can sign renewals and move-in paperwork digitally instead of me chasing down a physical signature. It also syncs cleanly with AppFolio, so a completed lease or inspection form drops straight into the tenant’s file without any manual double upload.
Move-in and move-out inspection packets with high-resolution unit photos load quickly and don’t crash, even when I’m combining photos, damage notes, and the deposit itemization into one clean file. That’s a task that used to eat up half an hour and now takes about five minutes.
With roughly 140 units across our portfolio, switching from two Acrobat seats to Foxit licenses has freed up real budget that we’ve redirected toward tenant screening tools. The AI Assistant has also been genuinely useful for commercial vendor agreements, summarizing a messy twenty-page contract down to the key indemnity clauses and insurance renewal dates in seconds instead of me having to read the whole thing. The mobile app is the main weak spot for me. During a drive-by unit inspection, when I need to pull up a signed lease or quickly log a maintenance note from my phone, about half the editing tools I rely on at my desk just aren’t available. As a result, I often end up waiting until I’m back at the office to finish things properly.
Performance has also taken a hit for me at times. When I batch-merged a large eviction case file years of notices, photos, and correspondence the app noticeably slowed down and, on one occasion, froze completely. That forced me to restart and redo part of the merge.
Support has been a mixed bag rather than consistently bad. A simple question about bulk-exporting tenant files got a same-day answer, but a licensing hiccup that hit right at the start of move-in season went unresolved for almost two full days. That’s rough timing when a stack of new tenants is waiting on signed paperwork.
Our sync with Buildium has also lagged a few times when pushing updated maintenance invoices, occasionally showing a vendor an outdated version before it finally catches up. And while the AI Assistant is generally solid for scanning vendor contracts, it once summarized a renewal clause a little too loosely and smoothed over a rent-escalation percentage—something I only caught because I reread the original page myself.
