"Awesome Auto-Discovery and Layer 2/3 Network Mapping"

What do you like best about Forward Enterprise?

The auto discovery is really cool. I plugged it into my network and after about an hour it had already found and mapped all of the devices on my network and threw up some alerts. The buss is running behind schedule and I am just sitting here looking at it discover everything I knew I had on the network. The Layer 2 / 3 visual Map of your Network is awesome. What do you dislike about Forward Enterprise?

Initial configuration is slow especially if you want to create custom reports. The custom reports are somewhat outdated looking. Also, the need for the server to run on windows is annoying and I do not know why they could not use linux. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Forward Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before we would have to either try to determine if the problem was with the application, network or both, etc. Now when a test fails or when something goes down; I can go back and check if there was a spike in resources or an outage occurring at the same time and it also monitors the remote branch devices so I do not have to sit around waiting for someone to contact me to inform me that a router is down.
