What do you like best about Forus (formerly Tandem)?

The magic of work getting done while I’m not actively working on it! It’s easy to submit a case and follow up. I like the Forus portal and the ability to view messages with the patient, denial letters, and the next steps when needed. I appreciate the ability to start PA myself, without asking my staff. What do you dislike about Forus (formerly Tandem)?

I wish I could submit the insurance card and progress notes right away as soon as the patient information appears in the Forus portal, instead of having to wait for a request for those documents. They’re always needed, so I don’t understand the wait. I’d like to move the case forward faster. I know it’s typically only 10–15 minutes before I receive the request, but the workflow is moving faster than that. Otherwise, I have no concerns at all. This service is like a dream come true. What problems is Forus (formerly Tandem) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before coming across Forus, I was debating whether I should hire one more staff member to handle PAs. The problem was that this would have significantly affected my clinic’s ability to stay afloat. Forus helped with that issue. I still need staff to work on PAs, but not nearly as much as before. The next issue was burnout. Both I, as a provider, and my staff were getting seriously burned out by the PA process—the redundancy and constant back-and-forth.
