What do you like best about FortiGate IPS?

FortiGate IPS provides strong threat detection and prevention capabilities while maintaining excellent network performance. The solution is easy to manage through a centralized interface, and the dashboards provide clear visibility into security events and policy effectiveness. The integration with the broader Fortinet Security Fabric makes security operations more efficient by allowing different security tools to work together seamlessly. The platform is stable, reliable, and regularly updated with new threat intelligence, helping us protect our environment against evolving threats. What do you dislike about FortiGate IPS?

While the product is very capable, some advanced features and configuration options can require additional learning for new administrators. Reporting and analytics could offer more customization options out of the box. However, these are relatively minor concerns and do not significantly impact the overall effectiveness of the solution. What problems is FortiGate IPS solving and how is that benefiting you?

FortiGate IPS helps us detect and prevent network-based threats before they impact our environment. It provides real-time inspection of traffic, blocks malicious activity, and gives our security team greater visibility into potential attacks. By identifying threats early and applying prevention policies automatically, the solution reduces security risks and minimizes the time spent investigating and responding to incidents.
