What do you like best about Focusmate?

Focusmate is my new go-to app for days when I’m feeling a little off or unmotivated. Every user I’ve worked with has been encouraging, and I’ve met some really diverse and interesting people along the way. I also love having the option to choose between 25-, 50-, and 75-minute sessions.

The simplicity of the app is what makes it so powerful. It isn’t overly flashy, but the community is genuinely supportive. People help with onboarding and support one another, which makes getting started feel easy and seamless. The pricing is fair, and there’s a great free version too. Overall, this app works perfectly for what I need it to do—body-doubling encouragement right when I need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Focusmate?

My main frustration with the app is not with the app itself, but rather when other users do not show up for the session without canceling the session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Focusmate solving and how is that benefiting you?

Focusmate helps solve my biggest issue: What to work on and for how long. When I come into my sessions and my partner asks what I am working on, I need to have an answer ready. It's a huge key to being productive --- and working this way has unlocked a new level of potential for me. It also helps me dive deeper into thinking tasks that I love to ignore!
