"Flowlu Brings CRM, Projects, Tasks, and Files Together in One Workspace"
4/5
What do you like best about Flowlu?

What I really like about Flowlu is that it rolls CRM, project tracking, task lists and file storage all into one single workspace. I’m Jozefina Mengee, Operations Analyst at Veridian Collective. We’re a small consumer electronics team of 11 to 50 people. My job is pretty cross-functional; I handle customer feedback surveys, keep track of sales leads, and manage all kinds of document workflows for our group. Before we tried Flowlu, I was constantly bouncing between a whole stack of separate SaaS tools. We had one platform for our CRM leads, another for task and project planning, and a completely different cloud drive to hold client files and survey notes. Jumping back and forth got tiring fast. Important customer context would get split up across different apps, and it was easy for details to fall through the cracks when we moved feedback from our surveys over to our sales team.

Flowlu fixes that by tying everything together in one spot. I can build out a sales deal for a new prospect, attach all the customer survey feedback we’ve collected, create linked project tasks, and drop relevant client documents right onto that same deal record. A couple months back, we had a retail buyer reach out to ask about a new electronics product line. I set up a dedicated deal inside Flowlu, logged all their questions and preferences from our discovery call, added tasks for our product team to review their feedback, uploaded their requirement sheets, and set clear due dates. Everyone involved could jump in, check the background, add comments, and stay on the same page. I didn’t have to send a long string of emails with scattered attachments or chase people to pass information along. The client portal settings are another big plus. When we need to share selected updates or documents with outside partners, I can send them controlled access without handing over full view of our internal team workspace.

I also appreciate how flexible the permissions and portal customization are. I can tailor what each person on our team can see. Some folks only need to check their assigned tasks, while our sales and leadership team need access to full customer records and survey summaries. That level of control keeps sensitive information safe. It’s important to note that Flowlu doesn’t replace our specialized survey tools for longer, in-depth user research. Those still serve their own purpose for gathering structured feedback. But Flowlu acts as our central hub to bring all those survey takeaways, deal history, and action items together. It cuts down on all that tedious app-switching and reduces so much manual admin work for me week over week. Our team can follow up on customer pain points faster, keep sales conversations consistent, and make sure our research and sales workflows don’t operate in separate silos. What do you dislike about Flowlu?

What bugs me most about Flowlu is how its reporting features feel limited and rigid, especially when I’m trying to combine our sales pipeline data with customer feedback insights. I regularly need to pull together reports that connect deal status, inquiry sources, and survey responses from our consumer electronics buyers. The out-of-the-box dashboards are built more for simple sales tracking, and the filter options are clunky to configure. A few weeks ago, our leadership wanted to see how feedback from our product surveys lined up with active commercial deals. I spent a good amount of time trying to layer filters to isolate that subset of records. No matter how I adjusted the settings, I couldn’t get a clean, merged view directly inside Flowlu. I had to export all the raw data and sort it manually in a spreadsheet to build a summary they could use. That pulled me away from other cross-functional work, like scheduling follow-up research sessions and organizing our document approval queues.

I also find the file management experience a bit underwhelming. We upload a lot of different assets tied to our deals: customer survey exports, product spec sheets, sample test notes, and client requirement documents. Uploading files to deal or project pages can feel slow, and previewing larger PDFs or multi-page research files inside the platform is hit-or-miss. More than once, a teammate hopped back into an older deal and couldn’t open an important feedback packet we’d saved there. They messaged me to track down the original copy, which created extra back-and-forth and slowed down their prep for customer check-ins.

On top of that, the notification system can be inconsistent. We rely heavily on alerts to know when someone has left a comment on a task, updated a deal, or finished reviewing a document. Sometimes alerts get delayed, or they don’t trigger at all. There have been a few close calls where a task or feedback note sat waiting for our team review for days, just because none of us received the notification. It’s stressful when we’re working against tight timelines for customer inquiries and product feedback reviews. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
