What I like best about FlexNet Manager is the level of detail and visibility it provides across a large IT environment. It can bring inventory data from many different sources into one place and help you understand what software and hardware you actually have, how it is being used, and how it impacts licensing.
It is a very powerful tool, especially for complex environments with multiple inventory sources and different licensing requirements. Once properly configured, it provides a level of detail that is difficult to get from other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike most is that troubleshooting can sometimes be difficult. When something does not work as expected, it is not always clear where the issue is coming from, especially when multiple inventory sources and integrations are involved. Some areas also require manual maintenance that can become challenging in large environments. Better visibility into how data is processed and easier troubleshooting tools would make the product much easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
