As the Operations Leader for a luxury transportation company with 40+ vehicles (sedans, SUVs, Sprinters, and buses), what I appreciate most about Fleetio is how effectively it centralizes our maintenance process. The service reminders by mileage and date help ensure vehicles don’t slip past their intervals, which means fewer surprise breakdowns right before client trips.
Our chauffeurs handle inspections through the mobile app, and any issues they flag—along with photos—flow directly into a work order instead of getting buried in WhatsApp messages. Having the complete service history and cost per vehicle in one place has also made trade-in decisions and insurance documentation much quicker and easier. Overall, it’s straightforward enough that even drivers who aren’t tech-savvy can learn it fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest drawback for us is the cost as our fleet grows. Pricing is per vehicle, so it adds up quickly once you’re managing 40+ vehicles, and some of the more useful features are locked behind higher-tier plans. The reporting is solid for standard maintenance and cost views, but it’s not as flexible as I’d like when it comes to custom reports for our specific needs, such as cost per vehicle class or by chauffeur. Because of that, we sometimes export the data and finish the analysis in spreadsheets. Initial setup also took a fair amount of time, especially entering vehicles, service schedules, and parts. None of this is a dealbreaker, but smaller operators should plan ahead for both the setup effort and the budget impact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
