What do you like best about Fivetran?

Fivetran has enabled us to connect all our disparate SaaS data sources into Snowflake and combine them with our in-house data. It is fast, reliable, and they constantly keep up with changes so we do not have to. What problems is Fivetran solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use several SaaS platforms, and have a lot of internal databases. Our customers want to see integrations of data between those sources and our data, and prior to Fivetran, our ways of doing this were very primative. Enter Fivetran, and now we have constant automated collection of our SaaS data, our relational data is being integrated into Snowflake as well, and we are finally able to provide our users with simple sets of data sources combining all of our platforms from 1 location. What do you like best about Fivetran?

Fivetran excels at doing one thing incredibly well: reliably syncing data from multiple SaaS tools into a central data warehouse like BigQuery. The setup is remarkably fast—most connectors are essentially plug-and-play, with minimal configuration. I especially appreciate the wide connector library, automatic schema management, and robust alerting system. For a small team without a full-time data engineer, it’s a game-changer. What do you dislike about Fivetran?

Pricing can be a barrier for early-stage startups or companies with unpredictable data volumes. Since Fivetran charges based on monthly active rows (MAR), costs can spike unexpectedly as your data grows—even if you’re not increasing the number of sources. Additionally, some niche connectors are still in beta or lack full functionality, and the granularity of scheduling could be more flexible (e.g., custom cron instead of fixed intervals). "Fivetran Is An Excellent Data Syncing Software"

What do you like best about Fivetran?

1. Great extended support for google sheets , even on cell group level. It is easier to manage scd metadata with this feature.

2. Timely sync of data with less failures acroos various connections.

What do you dislike about Fivetran?

The Schema section in connection is a bit slow but that is understandable.It would be good if the schema is pre fetched and stored runtime so it will be easier while editing setups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have around 50 different places company wide from where we need to sync data into warehouse on an hourly basis.Fivetran does a great job by timely syncing without delay.

"An amazing no-code out of the box data integration solution"

What do you like best about Fivetran?

I have been using Fivetran for over a year now and I love how easy it is to simply plug and play when it comes to connecting to almost any external SaaS platforms out there, saving us precious business time and resources.

I heavily rely on Fivertran to collect data from offline spreadsheets scattered across the business into one place by using the out of the box Sharepoint connector. Once set up, there is zero effort from the user to automate the entire data pipeline and easily channel the data into one place for analysis, saving me hours of VB coding!

Also love the fact that Fivetran guys are constantly adding newer connectors that I keep an eye on to try these out (business case depending) .

Overall, an extremely no-code solution for anyone who wants to automate their data pipeline with minimum effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fivetran?

What problems is Fivetran solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fivetran is saving me hours of VB coding when extracting data from excel and google spreadsheets from SharePoint sites across the business. The SharePoint connector is allowing me to spend more time analyzing the data and delivering the insights to the end users rather than to wrestle with the spreadsheets and get that data into one place.

More so I have started using a few other out of the box connectors recently such as Google Ads, Reddit and Wrike, which is amazing as its giving me data that otherwise would be very difficult to API into. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good Product -- Slow to pivot"

What do you like best about Fivetran?

We have a wide variety of source systems we need to extract data from. For 90+% of these FiveTran does the trick. Setup is easy and there isn't much to manage once set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fivetran?

There is a known issue with Business Central connectors. We have been working with them for months trying to get it fixed or even get a timeline and we continue to be flying blind.
