I use Fingerprint for its smart signals and the consistent device ID it provides. These features help me judge who are the genuine customers and detect those using techniques like VPNs, emulators, or geolocation spoofing. It's really helpful in identifying fraudulent activities and patterns on our platform, allowing me to make decisions on restricting or blocking certain devices. The setup was also quite easy, with just a few lines of JavaScript, and our tech team managed to integrate and test everything in almost a day or two, making the process really seamless. I also value the suspect score feature because it gives me a detailed analysis of anomalies within the fraudster data, helping me identify and focus on important fraud signals to improve our system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Fingerprint? I would like Fingerprint to improve the consistency of the device fingerprint it provides. Right now, it gives a browser-level fingerprint, so if a customer switches browsers, like from Chrome to Firefox or Safari, the device ID changes. It would be great to have a consistent fingerprint across different browsers. Also, I've noticed that the risk rule option on their dashboard is still in beta. It would be really helpful if Fingerprint would allow creating risk rules directly from the dashboard to streamline the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Fingerprint solving and how is that benefiting you? Fingerprint helps me tackle voucher abuse by clustering devices to identify fraud patterns.
