I appreciate Fingercheck's uncomplicated employee self-service time-tracking portal. It allows our local retail client's hourly staff to clock shifts and submit time-off requests with almost no training. This reduces our onboarding workload since we don’t have a dedicated IT team. The portal also significantly lightens our consulting workload, allowing staff to review their own time records independently and cutting down constant email check-ins for shift corrections. I also value the basic account setup that was straightforward for our people-operations team, enabling quick employee profile population and self-service portal activation without IT support. Fingercheck falls short on seamless native integration and custom report formatting for our HR advisory workflows. When processing payroll for our local retail client, exported timesheet files would not align with our core HR system’s required fields, forcing our team to manually re-format every pay cycle. Its reporting options are fairly rigid, and we cannot tailor outputs to match our client-ready deliverable templates. Lacking dedicated IT staff, our people-operations team absorbs all this cleanup work.
