FileZilla’s interface is very neat and clean, which makes it easy to use. The transfer process is also stable, and dragging and dropping a file from local storage to an online server is quite simple and saves time. The filter feature helps me sort files in the desired format, such as by date (descending or ascending), which also saves time.

I’ve used it on both Windows and Mac, and that’s one of the best points for me. It even allows multiple connections at the same time, which helps with multitasking, and I can use multiple FTP connections as needed. When it comes to pricing, it’s free and easily available to download.

The bottom interface clearly shows the file status—how much has been uploaded and how much is left—so working with it feels straightforward. One problem I face with large transfers is that the connection breaks in between, and then I have to reconnect and resume the transfer again. The same happens when I try to download heavy files from a server—it’s a very slow process, and the speed should be better. For beginners, the interface is a little complex, and having too many options in the dashboard panel can confuse the user.

Also, on the website there are two types available. As an experienced developer, I know which one to download, but a fresher user can get confused between File Zilla Client and File Zilla Server. They should clearly mention which one is for what, because many new users don’t know the difference and end up wasting time figuring out which one they need. Overall, improvement is required.
