To finish the title of my review, there's GOOD (programs) and BAD programs, but FILEVINE is an animal of it's own that doesn't place limitations on what you can do. **What do you dislike about Filevine?** It's only as good as the info we put into it; in particular, you have to "code" all of your own files and basically write the program to suit your company's needs. Therefore, we had/have to pay others to do the "behind the scenes" programming type work. I can run various reports to check on virtually any aspect of case and personnel oversight. I love that the Filevine team listens to recommendations and are constantly improving and updating functionality and adding new features. It has helped us tremedously to be able to cc files with emails, so those communications don't get lost and are easily accessible within the project activity feed. I love that I can update sections, templates, etc... as needed on my own. Also, the Quickbooks and Outlook integrations have been invaluable. Customer Support is extremely responsive and helpful when questions or issues arise. **What do you dislike about Filevine?** It was cumbersome and time consuming to initially set up, but worth the time and effort in the long run. I think we were early adopters so I feel certain that process has become much more simplified since then. Audit reports could be expanded to show exactly what was done by whom in a project, i.e,. which document was deleted by whom, not just that a document was amended. Also the audits are limited to last 60 days and an issue is often not discovered within that time frame so the timeframe needs to be greatly expanded. In short, the Audit reporting could be much more useful and beneficial if attention was given to this area of Filevine. I feel certain they will be updating these concerns in the near future. The most cumbersome part of Filevine is the Report Fusions. I think there has to be a way to simplify creating these. Hopefully this will be addressed also, but I think this may be replaced by AI, but Filevine is charging per file for AI, rather than adding it as an update to the existing service. **What problems is Filevine solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were not really using a file management system before adopting Filevine. This allows us to keep up with progress on Projects, monitor deadlines, run reports, contact clients and other case contacts directly from the project so all communications are visible and readily assessible by all Team members. We can keep up with project expenses and invoices easily, medical records, etc... We have our intake documents, demands and other documents set up to auto generate with client and accident information, medicals, treatment and diagnonsis information etc... which has saved countless hours, typos, etc.... Once generated, they are sent directly from the file so it is easy to follow up on. ### 10. The move button is so old-school. Also, we have people wth over 2,000 automated tasks. They would need to go through and individually close them. There are lots of functions on it that can seem overwhelming. The "activity" tab has all communications and updates for the case, but this can be overwhelming when trying to find information. The platform itslef isn't terrible, but there is lots of room for human error or clutter. For instance, in the "docs" section attorneys and support staff can upload images and docs to various subheadings such as "discovery", "pleadings", "correspondence", etc., but many times attorneys and staff have a lot on their plate and don't use the tabs, thus the fron page of "docs" is overloaded with tons of different pics and docs all at once – can easily get cluttered. **What problems is Filevine solving and how is that benefiting you?** Has everything in separate tabs to keep track of bills, records, etc. – can be organizationally useful!
