Reviewer Groups are the Filestage feature that has improved our review process the most. They let us separate internal review, legal checks, and client approval while still keeping every comment and decision connected to the same file. File Proofing also makes a big difference: reviewers can annotate images, PDFs, video, audio, and even websites directly. That saves me from having to interpret vague feedback like “change the thing in the top-right corner” and turn it into something the design team can actually act on. Reviewers can also join through a link without creating an account, which removes a surprising amount of friction with clients. Compare Versions becomes especially useful by the second or third round, when small edits start to add up. We can place versions side by side and, on Business, use overlay or text comparison to catch changes that are easy to miss. Comment Labels help us separate copy, branding, legal, and production feedback, so each team can focus on what actually belongs to them. For recurring work, we rely on Project Templates, Automations, due dates, and reminders to keep approval stages moving, without someone having to manually chase every reviewer.
