The file synchronization aspect of files.com has saved me a lot of time. We use amazon s3 and sharepoint for our cloud storage and files.com keeps all of these locations synchronized for us (we don't need to write custom code to update each location). I like the ability to create secure links to share files, along with the feature to include an expiration date on those links (this allows us to send a file to a client, set it to expire in 7 days and then i don't have to worry about deleting the file). While there are several open-source products that allow basic SFTP for free. It’s disappointing to pay money for what seems like it could/should be less expensive. Also had to play around and “guess” my way thru setting up the system. Not fun when you’re trying to get something setup quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
