I find the audit logging feature of Files.com essential, as it provides timestamps and attribution for every process, access, and transfer, which is crucial when handling patient information. The granular permission settings are great, allowing me to give specialist access to exactly one person for a defined period, avoiding the need for broader permissions. Automation has been really helpful for recurring tasks between clinic locations, running on schedule without needing staff involvement. Things I dislike and need improvement with Files.com is the interface takes more explaining than I like for clinical staff who are not technical. I often have to run a short training session because a few of the permission concepts are not intuitive to someone whose job is patient care rather than IT. The pricing also scales with storage, and imaging files are large, so our costs grow steadily as we accumulate data and retention requirements mean we cannot simply delete all studies to manage it. There's no intelligent monitoring to flag unusual access patterns that might warrant a look, so anomaly detection depends on me manually reviewing logs instead of the system detecting the problem.
