What do you like best about Fieldwire by Hilti?

Fieldwire keeps our entire project team aligned by combining drawings, tasks, photos, RFIs, and field documentation in one easy-to-use platform. As a superintendent, I rely on it daily to coordinate subcontractors, track progress, document quality, and communicate field issues in real time. What do you dislike about Fieldwire by Hilti?

Overall, Fieldwire has been an excellent tool, but I think there is an opportunity to expand beyond task management into production planning. I would like to see stronger support for Lean Construction workflows, including Make Ready planning, constraint tracking, pull planning, and look-ahead planning built directly into the platform. More customizable dashboards for superintendents, improved schedule integration, and the ability to create lift drawings or phase plans directly within Fieldwire would also add significant value. What problems is Fieldwire by Hilti solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fieldwire has helped solve one of the biggest challenges in construction—keeping everyone working from the same information. Instead of relying on phone calls, emails, or paper plans, our team can access the latest drawings, assign and track tasks, document field conditions with photos, and communicate directly from the plans. This has improved accountability, reduced miscommunication, and helped us identify and resolve issues before they impact the schedule. It has also given me better visibility into project progress, allowing me to coordinate subcontractors more effectively, maintain quality, and keep work moving forward.
