"I keep recommending Fathom!"

What do you like best about Fathom?

Fathom is so easy to use, even from the first attempt. The training videos were short and informative (not to mention entertaining) and the trainer said at the end, "We want Fathom to be the best product you've ever used," and I think it's possible this is true for me. With the click of a button the recording/transcription is already at work when I launch a Zoom meeting. I love that I can quickly mark certain parts of the conversation in real-time (and Fathom knows to go back and mark what I've just heard). This is especially helpful as I record podcast interviews and want to remember a key point my guest shared. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

I don't see a lot of downside with Fathom. I've had a few hiccups but only because of user error when I thought I had turned Fathom on but realized after the fact that I had not. I would also prefer the "recording/notetaking" warning in Zoom calls to show up differently on the viewing window so I don't have to explain to my podcast guests every time that it's not actually another person in the room. But that is in no way a deal breaker for this amazing tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?

Creating weekly podcast transcripts has, in the past, been difficult because of time it would take to create a transcript my own and the cost of paying another human to do it for me. However, it is important to me that anyone who wants to access my podcast can do so, even if they are deaf or prefer to read rather than listen to podcasts. Fathom is fixing this problem for me and my listeners, and I believe it's a total game changer for anyone who records or wants meetings/calls transcribed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
