It is very handy for showing all connected devices on your network. As long as your communication driver is setup it should automatically recognize anything attached to the network. It is a little harder to set up legacy devices with this. It isn't the most user friendly. It takes a long time to start up sometimes, freezes often. If you don't have RSLinx open and you try to connect directly from Micrologix, it will freeze for a while. This only happens on the first time you try to connect to anything.
